In her role as Chief People Officer (CPO), Lisa Stewart leads the development, implementation and evaluation of the overall Human Resources and Internal Communications Plan for North Peace Savings and Credit Union. Known for her leadership approach that focuses on empowerment and engagement, Lisa has played a fundamental role in leading internal coaching culture that encourages and supports the development of leaders and employees at every level of the organization.
Lisa has been part of the leadership team at NPSCU for over 15 years. After earning her diploma in Business Administration from Fraser Valley University, Lisa joined NPSCU in March 1997 where she has enjoyed building her career in the field of Human Resources ever since. Lisa became a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University in 2010 and throughout her career has been committed to life-long learning, completing a number of courses and certifications in areas of leadership, change management, team building and relationship building. Lisa has her Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. As a member of the Executive team, Lisa believes that communication is the key to an engaged workforce that produces superior business results.
Proud to call Fort St John home, Lisa enjoys being involved in her local community. She sits on the Fort St John District Sports Council as Treasurer for North Peace KidSport for over 7 years.
