Special Member Information Session February 2023

Due to the previously announced merger discussions between NPSCU and Interior Savings Credit Union (ISCU), the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and director elections will be deferred to a later date in 2023, but will be held not later than August 12, 2023 should the proposed merger not proceed.

In the interim, TAKE NOTICE that a Special Information Session of members will be held by way of webinar online via Zoom, as follows:

DATE: February 7, 2023

TIME: 7:00 p.m. (MST)

LOCATION: Online, via Zoom

THE PURPOSE of the Special Information Session is for members to be presented with the audited financial statements and to have an opportunity to discuss the financial performance of NPSCU for the financial year ending September 30, 2022.

The audited financial statements of NPSCU for the financial year ending September 30, 2022, are now available below.

All members who wish to attend the Special Member Information Session are required to pre-register on-line no later than 12:00pm on February 6, 2023.

There will be time to ask questions during the Q&A portion of the meeting.  If you would prefer to submit a question in advance to be answered during the Special Member Information Session, please email us at infosession@npscu.ca by February 3rd, 2023.

NPSCU has chosen to host the event as a Virtual session via Zoom.  We invite you to attend the session from the comfort of your own home.

  • Members who wish to participate are required to pre-register NO LATER than 12:00pm (MST) on February 6th, 2023.
  • It is important for each participant to register to receive a unique meeting link for this Zoom session.
  • Registration opens on January 6th, 2023 and closes at 12:00pm on February 6th, 2022.

Technology

Zoom technology provides the capability for members to communicate their question(s) within the session via messaging or by a telephone queue that is managed by staff during the session.

To minimize potential technology issues on the day of the meeting, please test your unique Zoom link prior to the start of the meeting. For technical support please refer to Instructions on Installing Zoom or contact infosession@npscu.ca.

Zoom can be used on many devices including supported mobile and tablet devices, PC, Mac, Linux.

The purpose of this Special Member Information Session being held on February 7, 2023 is to present to the membership the 2021-2022 Audited Financial Statements.

Future Member Information Sessions

Pending consent from the BC Financial Services Authority to move forward with the proposed merger between NPSCU and Interior Savings Credit Union, we look forward to welcoming you this spring, to in-person and virtual Member Information Sessions, to discuss, in depth, the proposed merger and to answer any questions that may arise regarding the merger prior to a member vote.

Upon consent from BCFSA, members will be advised of the dates and times of future Member Information Sessions via mail and our website.
