CEBA Loan Program Repayment Requirements

The final deadline to repay your CEBA loan in full is December 31, 2026. 

Effective January 19, 2024 the unpaid balances on all CEBA loans began accruing interest at the rate of 5% per annum, payable monthly.

When do I have to repay?

  • You must repay your CEBA loan in full by December 31, 2026.

How much do I have to repay?

  • You are required to repay your CEBA loan in full by, no later than, December 31, 2026.
  • You are not required to make monthly principals payments on the outstanding balance of your CEBA loan.
  • You may apply principal payments to the outstanding balance of your CEBA at any time, in any amount, without penalty.

What is the process to repay my CEBA loan?

  • You can repay your loan through any of the following methods:
    • By signing into online banking and making a prepayment to your CEBA loan account;
    • By contacting your Account Manager;

​What interest rate will be charged on my CEBA loan?

  • Interest will be payable monthly at a rate of 5% per annum.
