NPSCU Partners with CU Dealer Finance Corporation

January 23, 2019 – North Peace Savings and Credit Union (NPSCU) has joined the CU Dealer Finance Program with CU Dealer Finance Corporation. The relationship has been in development for quite some time and NPSCU is very excited to partner with what we feel is the strongest Credit Union Dealer Finance program in Canada. This will be CUDF’s first affiliate partnership of this type in British Columbia.

NPSCU wanted our membership to be able to take advantage of the benefits of a dealer finance channel and felt they owed it to them to join a program that will allow a quick and easy way for them to access financing through NPSCU at the point of sale. CCO, Kevin Jolly stated, “We are pleased to be able to offer our members and the communities we serve this option when shopping for a new or used vehicle. It is all about saving them time, money and making it easy to access competitive financing from their preferred lender. This partnership allows us to do that”. The program will officially launch in March 2019.

CUDF Divisional Manager Darren Beasley noted, “CUDF will proudly represent North Peace Savings and Credit Union members and non-members alike in their local market and throughout western Canada. This addition will greatly increase North Peace brand awareness and offer access to direct dealership financing not previously available”. CUDF dealer finance origins date back to 1994 and in 2006, a partnership between Affinity Credit Union, Conexus Credit Union and Innovation Credit Union was formed. CUDF supports western Canadian Credit Unions with their member’s automotive needs in over 500 dealerships throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and now northeastern British Columbia.

NPSCU, calling Northeastern BC home for over 70 years, has a head office location in Fort St. John with 4 branches, $468 million in assets with 80 staff serving over 11,000 members.
